Risk Assessment

Port Security Center is proud to offer you the latest information on the new guideline for the Port Facility Security Assessment.

This guideline mainly focuses on risks as covered in the ISPS-Code (Part B, paragraph 8.9 (for ships) and 15.11 (for port facilities)), that can be translated to more commonly recognized risks, like Drug trafficking, Human trafficking and exploitation, arms trafficking, Piracy, terrorism, and Cyber Security.

Several of these risks are increased, when dealing with banned or underperforming ships, ships with flags of convenience or from high risk countries or when dealing with dangerous goods.
