Drill/Exercise Q4 – ‘Ignorance is the parent of fear – Why Port Security Risk Assessment is important’
November 15th 2017 @ 10:00 - 17:00 CET€150 – €195
Port of Amsterdam has developed a new risk assessment procedure, MOBI, that will be adopted by other Dutch Ports. Project leader Peter Alkema will introduce it to you. Jaap Pijning Policy Advisor Openbare Orde en Veiligheid and Advisor Risicokaart for the Province of Noord-Holland will explain what information is available on Risicokaart.nl and how it fits into the MOBI procedure. Together we will fill out the application form in order to gain experience and learn from each other. There will be several ISPS consultants and experts from Risicokaart.nl available to assist and answer all burning questions. Peter van Dusseldorp, Van Aetsveld, will then set the risk analysis in a wider perspective. Ad Hendriks, Avans, will be the chairman of the day. As a result you will have an insight in the importance of a good risk assessment, the new method and will you be (almost) ready to start your (re)certification! This ISPS event is also interesting when you consider revisiting the risk analysis for your port or port facility.
