Symposium ‘Joint approach (organized) Crime Port of Moerdijk’
June 30th 2016 @ 14:00 - 17:00 CEST
Moerdijk invites you to the symposium Joint approach (organized) Crime Port of Moerdijk. The Moerdijk seaport is of great importance for the national and regional economy. In recent years industry and safety partners worked hard to increase the physical security in the area. The realization of a 24/7 manned fire station, with police and medical station, is a milestone in their joint efforts. However, security in the area is not only limited to fires and traffic accidents. The ideal business climate for entrepreneurs, also attracts criminal activity. And these activities continue to be better organized. Crime and disorder should be reduced and prevented.
The symposium aims to intensify cooperation in the area and create actionable events in the field of Social Security. During the symposium we take stock; what is going on in the area and what threats do we face in the future? We learn from best practice in other port areas and lead- ing speakers in the field of combating crime. And eventually we determine the strategy and related actions in the coming years for Port of Moerdijk, with its goal of a safer and more secure region.
