MarSec20+ | The Future of Port and Maritime Security
December 8 @ 06:00 - December 9 @ 09:00 CET
Petrospot and CSO Alliance are pleased to introduce their virtual conference MarSec20+ | The Future of Port and Maritime Security – a two-day exploration into emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in maritime security and their impacts on the future of our sector.
The FREE conference will bring together key industry leaders from commercial shipping and ports, bunkering organisations, and cyber security specialists, to address emerging trends in maritime security and create a community across the shipping and bunkering sectors which can knowledgeably and effectively uphold the future of maritime security.
Lord Nicholas Fairfax will speak about the professionalisation of global criminal activity against ports and shipping, and what this means for CSOs, PFSOs, company directors, and CEOs.
A lawyer by training, Lord Nicholas Fairfax began his 25-year career in marine insurance with UK P&I Club, followed by 15 years as a senior executive at Sovcomflot/SCG Group, with risk management and litigation counted among his responsibilities. He is the co-founder of two private security companies – Hart Security Ltd and Hawki Worldwide Ltd – and has been an elected Member of the House of Lords since 2015.
