Congres Cybercrime in Transport & Logistics
September 29th 2017 @ 09:00 - 16:30 CEST
Port of Rotterdam was hit hard by the cyber attack at APMT. As a result of a hack, the APM terminals on the Maasvlakte came to a halt. The effects on the supply chain are known.
The vulnerability of the logistics chain has become visible
Specialists indicate that there is an upside to this situation. Where previously cybercrime, system security and hackers were considered to be a cost item, one has now come to terms with the necessity to invest in protection. The importance of safe and reliable systems is crucial. It has also become apparent that there is a need to take action when a hack is committed. To give this process of awareness a platform, Nieuwsblad Transport organizes the Congress Cybercrime. Check out the website here.
Exclusively accessible for transportation & logistics
During this conference, transport and logistics professionals will discuss cybercrime. This conference is partly about technology and IT, but is intended for managers and directors without technical background. It’s about the techniques and principles, not the bits and bytes. Will you join us?
